Remembering William B. Graves

To honor Bill, DFA established an entrepreneurial scholarship to financially assist exceptional candidates in fulfilling their dream of becoming franchisees.

The William B. Graves Entrepreneurial Scholarship

The William B. Graves Entrepreneurial Scholarship, presented by Domino’s Franchisee Association, is awarded to a prospective franchisee who exhibits the true entrepreneurial spirit epitomized by Bill Graves.

Bill began his career as a delivery driver and went on to become one of the largest and most successful franchisees in the Domino’s Pizza brand. We tragically lost Bill early in 2015, and this award was established in his honor.

Quantity and Eligibility

Three annual $2,000 scholarships totaling $6,000 are awarded to each MVP of the Franchise Management School (FMS) programs.



Knowledge

Scholarship recipients meet with a DFA Board Member through a post-class interview to ensure they know who Bill Graves was, what the DFA is, and that they meet the minimum expectations of the scholarship.



DFA Membership

Once candidates become franchisees, winners will also receive a complimentary one-year membership to the Domino’s Franchisee Association.



Timeline

Applications must request and complete a scholarship application within 30 days of receiving MVP recognition of their FMS class.



Awareness

The DFA will contact winners to schedule interviews after receiving scholarship applications.


